Fall7Rise8 is dedicated to resilience and transformation.

What does the picture at the top of this post mean?  It’s the logo of this website and thus, of course, represents our “fall seven, rise eight” message.  But what specifically do the symbols mean in the picture?  In this quick blog post, we’ll answer this as well as other questions.

There are two parts to the logo.  The bottom part of the logo is a representation of fall seven, rise eight.  The first triangle points down with an associated Roman numeral seven; the second triangle points up with an associated Roman numeral eight.  For more on what “fall seven, rise eight” means, see the introduction to the website.

The upper part of the logo is a simple and minimal abstracted representation of the Phoenix.  The Phoenix is a long-lived mythical bird that is periodically born again by rising from the ashes of its predecessor.  This was included in the logo because it fits well with the message of transformation that is such an important part of life.
